What do you need an ultra bright retina display when your screen looks like this:
Can you see the squared looking prints on my screen? those are from the macbook keyboard. What's the story here? Is there another recall going on like for the 2015 models?

Yep, almost all do that ... key "tracks". So far on our 2016 and 2020 MBPs its inconsequential.

inconsequential? So how do you clean it off? the microfiber cloth of my glasses doesn't work.
What does it look like when the display is actually on?
depends, if I'm looking at a bright image I don't see it but it is visible on darker ones.
