Idk what i turned on or off but i cant download an app without turning on the assistive touch setting that brings up a little circle. I know how to use it but its annoting to turn it on every time. I have face id btw thats the problem.

Disable the Confirm with Assistive touch option as suggested above if you don't want to use Assistive touch at all.
So what happens exactly when you try to download an App without having assistive touch enabled?
Why can't you download an App then, exactly? Do you get an error? If so what does it say?
