A. Troubleshooting Face ID:

• If Face ID isn't Working on your iPhone or iPad Pro - Apple Support

• If an Alert Says Face ID has been Disabled on your iPhone or iPad Pro - Apple Support

B. Troubleshooting FaceTime:

• If you can’t Turn on or Sign in to iMessage or FaceTime - Apple Support

• If you can't Make a FaceTime Call on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

• If you Experience an Error when Trying to Activate iMessage or FaceTime - Apple Support

Click on the Get Support link at the top right of this page to contact Apple Support.

If you are running iOS 15.5 (and you should be) then there is a bug out there that could disable your eSIM if you mess with the links on iMessage and FaceTime and you would have to get a physical SIM to resolve the issue. And just click on the Get Support link.
