Hi Folks,
I have around 700 eml files from another email system that I would like to import to Apple Mail. I does import them but it creates a separate folder/mailbox for every single message. Is there a way to accomplish importing eml files to a single folder without 3rd party tools?

Right Click on just One of the saved eml files.
A Secondary Menu should appear and use " Get Info"
Change the Default Application to Mail.
The while there make Mail the Default Application for all files with the .eml extension
The default app for eml files was already Mail.app. So I am able to open individual messages using the Mail.app but that doesn't import them into a mailbox in the app.

Must mention, have never tried myself as all emails I keep are in iCloud.
