Magic Keyboard with newest generation iPad When you close the magic keyboard with the iPad in place does it shut the power off to the iPad or just put it on sleep?

It puts the iPad to sleep and in low power mode.

It does NOT completely shut down the iPad.

My iPad magic keyboard backlit wouldn’t stop even when the iPad is in the sleep mode Is there a setting that allows the backlit to just stop automatically working?
