Hello,
I have an iPhone 13 pro with iOS 15.4.1 and I turned off automatic updates under App Store settings, but my phone continues to update apps over wifi, even after rebooting it.
I’m abroad and my wifi connection has limited data…
How is that possible? And what else can I do?

We understand that after you've disabled Automatic Updates in the App Store, your apps are still being updated.
Do you happen to have any VPN software installed on your iPhone? If so, you may consider disabling it temporarily.
You can also sign out of the App Store, restart your device then sign in again to refresh its settings. You can go to Settings > [Your Name] > Media & Purchases > Sign Out. After you've restarted your iPhone, you can follow the same path back to sign in again.
