When I was setting up my new iPhone(I’m upgrading from an 8 to a 13) I was asked to call a number and provide my phone number and then my account pin. I do not know what my account pin is. Is there any way I can figure out what my account pin is?
Most likely, that request didn't come from Apple, and it sounds like a scam/phishing attempt.
DO NOT respond nor give any personal info to anyone.

No idea about that, since I've never bought an iPhone locked to a carrier, and never saw that kind of message.
Verizon should be able to enlighten you about that "pin".

This is the screen that popped up when I was activating my phone. It wasn’t through a message or email, it was just a step in my activation.
Is my account pin then something Verizon related, because the Verizon number is what asked for my account pin.
