Iphone Trade in question

I have an Iphone 11 and the battery had to be replaced as it had become degraded. I used a non Apple repairer.

Can I still trade in that phone against a new Iphone 13? The questions make no mention of whether you have a non apple part fitted….

iPhone 11, iOS 15

It's kind of tricky. The primary use to Apple for an iPhone trade-in is that it's used as a service replacement or retail refurbished device. They'll always replace the battery, so the condition (or possibility provenance) of the battery isn't so important as long as it's not swollen and damaged the rest of the device. No guarantees that it might be rejected just on the basis of an aftermarket battery.

Any kind of third party service is looked at carefully. The most important thing would be if anything was damaged in the repair process.
