Why does the camera add the horrible HDR filter to every picture and can this be changed in settings? I bought this phone specifically for the camera and I’m extremely disappointed with it so far. It really sucks that my old iPhone 7 took better pictures so I’ll be returning this if I can’t find a way to correct the photo issue.

In Settings>Camera>Photographic Styles, you can design your own look for your photos. You can also view and adjust automatic camera settings quickly by pressing the arrow at the top of the camera app.

Thanks but I’ve tried, none of them work. There’s apparently no way to remove the auto HDR feature on the iPhone 13 Pro for photos. It was an option on all previous models from what I’ve found. Not sure why they had to mess with a good thing but it’s really disappointing.
I have also changed the auto macro, lens correction, and auto HDR settings but the photos still come out with the water color effect. Starting to think the camera just bl0ws.
water color effect… idk this is not a problem I’ve had or people I’ve seen online have had the the iPhone 13. Could you send examples?
In this search im seeing a lot of options for removing this watercolor effect. I would refer to those bc I have never experienced the problem. Have a good night!
