Tracking Notifications

I have an iPhone 12 and I noticed under my settings under notifications there is a new one called tracking notifications it has absolutely nothing to do with Find My so I’d like to know what it is for

Hey StacySharon,


Although it may not seem to have anything to do with Find My, it actually does. Go to the Find My App, tap Me, scroll down to "Customize My Tracking Notifications". Once you tap on Customize My Tracking Notifications, you will then be taken to Settings > Notifications > Tracking Notifications, to either enable or disable it.


For more information, check out the information here: What to do if you get an alert that an AirTag, Find My network accessory, or set of AirPods is with you. The setting is mentioned under the "Unwanted Tracking" section.
