6 plus facetime

tried using facetime and get the message, requires an update, go to update and it says your software is up to date ios 12.5.5, will the 6 plus not take any more updates, if not is there an earlier version for facetime to work.

Facetime on my iPad (3rd Generation) I have an iPad 3rd generation, got it in 2012. I can only use it for Facetime and sharing photos. Now Facetime doesn't work, says it has an issue connecting with the Facetime server. Any suggestions?? I cannot even update the version I am on. It says its current on iOS 9.3.5

FaceTime not working on iPad mini I reset my iPad mini 2 and upgraded to available 12.5.7 version. FaceTime does not work anymore

If your iPhone is too old, it would not be compatible with the newer software updates. 
