iPhone joke setting?

Hi there


As you can see below, I have Reduce Loud Sounds turned off.


However as you can also see below, it still gives me warnings despite it being turned off.


Is the Reduce Loud Sounds just a sort of joke setting?

Reduce Loud Sounds only limits the maximum volume of noise. It doesn't have anything to do with Headphone Safety warnings.


If you can turn off the notifications, you would do it this way-


Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Reduce Loud Sounds - If Allow is checked, change it to Don't Allow.


Then go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Headphone Safety and change the setting, which should now be available.
