Double sided print option is gone for our Mac

Hi! My name is Meredith, and my family recently invested in an Epson ET-3850 printer to accompany our Mac that runs on Monetery OS. Previously we were able to simply click the double sided print button and it would work, however now the option is completely missing. I can get it to work on my MacBook Pro though. I have spent so much time going through countless websites trying to figure out what the heck is going on, even got a mini lesson on duplex printing and airprint, which apparently we have. I cannot fix this problem for the life of me, so I am reaching out to you lovely techies out there for some assistance.

OMG I FINALLY DID IT!

Steps for anyone having a similar issue
system preferences>printers and scanners
right click on your printers name and click reset print settings (this will remove your printer, it can be easily added back, don't worry)
click the + in the bottom left and add the printer back
print that doubled sided document!!!!

I have an Epson printer, though mine is a different model (WF-4820). Like yours, my Epson is AirPrint compatible. I am using the latest version of MacOS Monterey on my MacBook Air, and double sided printing works just fine for me.

You have not told us your Mac’s model, vintage, or operating system name and version.
