Pairing apple watch to iphone13

I cannot pair my apple watch series 3 to my newly bought iphone 13. I did all possible updates on iphone 13 and my old iphone SE. I also update watch IOS. I unpaired my apple waych from the old iphone SE. I follow step by step the procedure to pair with my new iphone 13. After step 4 my iphone says there is a new software available for the watch. The after a search i get the message my iphone 13 is not connected to the internet.. which is wrong.. i am able to surf with Safari.. What is your recommendation. Is Apple forcing is to buy a new apple watch? Talking about sustainable solutions.. that’s not a good example.

Thanks a lot, I will go to the apple shop in Brussels. Let’s see what they say. I will post here what the outcome is.

The apple watch 3 GPS only has only 8GB of internal storage, most of that is taken

up by the operating system and other critical software with not much space left for the

update.So installing or even pairing to an ios15 phone is proving nearly

impossible for just about all the watch 3 users on this forum.

same applies to Apple watch 1 and 2 they are almost impossible to either pair or

update with an ios 14 or ios15 phone.

Your best course of action is to call in at an apple store and ask them to pair/update it for you.
