Why can't I remove some apps? I have apps that are taking up a lot of space and I don't need them anymore. I want to get rid of them but can't. Surely there is a way to do this?

You may have Screen Time Restrictions set to ON.
Open Settings ➔ Screen Time ➔ Content & Privacy Restrictions ➔ iTunes & App Store Purchases ➔ Deleting Apps : Set this to ALLOW
Then try deleting those apps again.

What happens when you attempt to delete the apps? There are some stock apps developed by Apple that cannot be deleted. All third party apps can be deleted. Which apps are you having difficulty to delete and which error message do you see on your screen?

Hi Axel and thanks for replying. My phones storage recently got to near capacity and so I went into its storage and saw that a whole load of apps that I thought I had deleted were using up loads of that storage capacity. I want to get rid of apps like Spotify, Youtube, Facebook, Now, Deezer, BBC sport, All 4, and Etsy as I no longer need them and they do take up space. When I remove an app it is just removing it from the home screen and not deleting it from my phone and it therefor uses up space. There doesn't appear to be a way of removing them completely. The link you sent just removes it from the home screen. Do you know how I can get rid of them totally? Thanks, Dave.
