Apple Books not syncing

I have hundreds of ebooks and pdfs saved on the app and previously it was sorted under “recent” or “manually” where i can find my recently downloaded books. After i deleted and reinstalled the app on my iphone, it became all messed up and i can’t seem to sort it and find my recent books anymore.

Also, the few recent collections that are created can’t be synced on my iphone when it appears on my ipad .
