System Crash but no system shutdown?

So around 10:56PM on Friday June 17th 2022 I plugged in my Gameboy Advance to my MacBook Pro 11,1 from mid 2014 (Running macOS 10.15.6 Catalina of course, mainly cause I really dislike the latest builds like big sur {the mac it can run}) only to charge and around 2 - 2 1/2 minutes later a window pops up from the system saying system has crashed for a unknown reason but no shutdown, it did however drop a file in a certain directory labelled eficheck.dump and I'm unsure of what that means since it says the system has crashed but its completely fine? I'm so confused, any ideas as to what in the world just happened? any suggestions to be able to view the dump log would be appreciated.
