If you have a payment method on file with your Apple ID, if you renew the subscription, that should renew the payments.

I have updated the payment information and it still says I need to update it. I have successfully added funds into my Apple Account with the payment method but still cannot renew or cancel my subscription. It says that I need to update my payment information. I cannot use my balance on my Apple ID to renew an app I have a $24 balance on my Apple ID. That is my default payment method however it won’t let me renew a $19.99 app subscription. HELP
