I've just purchased an EPSON XP-2150 printer and it's working properly, except for one problem, even when a PREVIEW shows the whole photo correctly, one side (on the R/H side) is persistently being cut off as here (this was an A5 print):-

The image includes a lot more detail on the R/H side which is missing!

If anyone has experience with this Epson printer I'd really appreciate some advice.

Thanks.

Trev.

At last, I've got the settings correct, I've been using the wrong PAPER size, A6 instead of 10 x 15 cm (4 x 6)!!

wrong!!

right.

It now seems so obvious just looking at the two images, where the paper sizes differ!

Thank you and all the other community people who've been trying to help me, I'm sorry I've wasted so much of your time.

Try the following:

1 - export an original photo and open it with Preview. Print from Preview and see if the problem persists. If it does continue with #2.

2 - As a test launch Photos with the Option key held down and create a new, test library.  Import some photos and test to see if the same problem persists. Does it? This tells us if the problem is limited to your current library or is more wide spread. If it prints OK then try printing again with your original library.

3 - if the test library exhibits the same problem log into a basic admin user account, Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac repeat with a test library and see if the problem persists. This tells us if the problem is limited to your user account or is system wide.

4 - Lastly boot into Safe Mode according to How to use safe mode on your Mac and test to see if the problem persists. Reboot normally and test again.

NOTE: Safe Mode boot can take up to 3 - 5 minutes as it's doing the following;

• Verifies your startup disk and attempts to repair directory issues, if needed

• Loads only required kernel extensions (prevents 3rd party kernel/extensions from loading)

• Prevents Startup Items and Login Items from opening automatically

• Disables user-installed fonts

• Deletes font caches, kernel cache, and other system cache files

Thank you for replying.

It seems that it's here, in Photoshop, that I need to adjust the size to suit the paper size, e.g. 4" x 6", would this be where I do it?

Yes, that's correct. Crop the image to the size ration of the final print and paper size selected. That will let you select what portion of the image to exclude when the size ratio is not the same.

Also I usually set the resolution to 300 as that's the resolution I like to print at.

Here's my attempts to provide the information you require:-

Actual area

Printer information

Printer driver (I don't know if this is enough information, I don't know how to show the driver settings?

The size it is at the moment (could this be where I need to adjust the size to suit the paper?)

Thank you for replying. I hope all this gives you enough information to help me.

Hello again "Old Toad", Thanks to you I've been able to size my image correctly for printing. As you see from these two screenshots, although correct size, they are slightly OFSET, the one on the right with border and the one on the left borderless. Both are offset to the right and top. I guess there's a final minute adjustment I need to make? If so, please advise how.

Thank yet again.
