I have a M1 Macbook Pro-14 (2021) that has thunderbolt 4 ports. Is there any external DVD Cd Drive available toout there that plugs to the thunder bolts ports

You are looking for two features:

1. DVD drive that has a USB-C cable to directly plug into your Mac
   1. If only a USB-A cable, then you need a USB-C to USB-A adapter either from Apple, or what I use.
2. A device whose vendor shows that it is compatible with macOS Monterey, and not exclusively MS Windows
   1. Availability of recent firmware updates installable from macOS as indicative of this capability
