Indoor Walk Activity gave ZERO credit on Exercise Ring!?!
Hi,
I bought a new Apple Watch, Series 7 this week. I went out for a few outdoor walks that were about 30 minutes or so. I got "full credit" on my Exercise Ring for those walks. This morning I did an "Indoor Walk" on the treadmill. About the same time, 30 minutes. My average heart rate on the indoor walk was actually higher than the outdoor walk, yet I get ZERO credit for it??? I understand Apple has some weird analytics involved in how and why you get credit for an exercise, but this makes absolutely no sense. I was actually sweating more and heart rate higher, but didn't get the ring to move today at all. I'm including some screen shots of yesterdays outdoor walk and todays indoor walk. If anyone has an answer to this and if it's a flaw in my particular watch, I'd love to know. Or is this "just how it is!?!"
