How to fix apple logo loop?

I have tried the method recommended on the apple website, pressing the volume up button, volume down button, and the screen lock button. But the issue did not resolve. I have also connected my phone to iTunes but it says it is unable to update my phone. What else can I do to fix the apple logo loop issue?
