Problems signing in with 2 step identification

Ihave been trying to access iTunes for days without any luck after 2 step verification was added to my account. I am asked for my login and password. Fine. I am then required to enter a verification code which I receive on my phone and iPad but it is never accepted and I am returned to the login page. Please help!
