It loaded on a C-SPAN Safari page. Google indicates it is a more intelligent way for people to decide if they want ads. Appears to be a work-around for various OS / iOS software privacy settings. What information does Apple Software Development have regarding how this works and what is is doing - or - trying to do in overriding Apple OS / iOS Privacy Settings / Adblockers? On my iPAD - using Safari web browser - it first showed up on the C-SPAN webpage. Can it be off-loaded or BLOCKED.

Hi iTune@@,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities!

We have guidance that can help explain how your iPhone is designed to protect your data and privacy. Upgrading to the latest iPadOS also helps protect your security as well.

Here's more guidance and how to keep your information secure: Use the built-in security and privacy protections of iPhone - Apple Support

To make sure your iPad is updated to the latest version, you can go to Settings > General > Software Update. If there is an update available, make sure to create a backup. For additional guidance use the below steps:

"Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch wirelessly

  1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
  2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
  3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
  4. If you see two software update options available, choose the one that you want to install.

The Settings app on iPhone showing options to update to iOS 14.8 or iOS 15.

5. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do."

This information is from Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.

Cheers.
