Charging

Can an Iphone 13 be overcharged? I let it charging overnight and it still shows the lightning bolt icon as if its charging when it is at 100 percent. Does this mean its overcharging and will hurt the battery?

It displays the lightning bolt when it is plugged in.

It will not overcharge.

There is also a recently introduced option that automatically reduces the time the battery spends fully charged if, for example you leave it plugged in all night frequently or every night as I do. See: About Optimized Battery Charging on your iPhone - Apple Support
