iPhone 12 to HD External Monitor?

Hi!

So I have a little workout room in my basement and I use my iPhone12 to access workout videos. I'd like to put them onto an HD monitor I have, so that I'm not staring at the smallest screen from a few feet away. I tried to connect via HDMI and the screen said no input found.

The type of HD monitor is E243m - I've done all the basic troubleshooting but can't really figure it out. Any thoughts out there? Thanks!

iPhone X, iOS 12

If you already tried (to no avail) all the steps provided in this support article:--> About Apple Digital AV Adapters for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support, and if you are using the appropriate HDMI adapter (this one:--> Lightning Digital AV Adapter - Lightning to HDMI - Apple), it should work.

For your piece of mind, you can make an appointment (*) and have your iPhone+Adapter inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> Apple – Location Selector. After checking it/them out, they'll give you all the available options.

Regards

Giulio
