How to continue audio stream when screen locks?

Many reports of audio stream breaking when iPhone screen goes dark. Only solution I’ve seen is to turn off Lock Screen. This is problematic in so many ways already discussed.

Streaming Audio Stops When iPhone AutoLocks I often listen to streaming audio on my iPhone via YouTube or other web services, but starting several days ago the audio is interrupted each time my AutoLock kicks in after 2 minutes. This is very frustrating and I don't know why this problem suddenly arose. This happened once before for several weeks a couple of years ago and mysteriously stopped. Please don't tell me to disable the AutoLock feature, as I want the screen to automatically lock after a minute or two; I just don't want ongoing streams to stop mid-play when that happens. Thanks.

Text Audio Notification Does Not Work When Screen Is Locked iPhone 12 For over a month now, I have not been getting text audio notifications when my phone screen is locked. When my screen is unlocked, or I am actively using my phone, I get an audio cue. Pointless. I need an audio cue when my phone is in locked mode. I have missed so many text messages. Attached are screenshots of my settings. What am I missing here: Thank you.

Stream audio from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Open Control Center on your iPhone or iPod touch, or on your iPad: ...
Touch and hold the group of controls in the upper-right corner, then tap AirPlay .
Tap each speaker or TV that you want to play the current audio to.
