Did you read the article on how your application is evaluated? There is more to being approved for a credit account than a credit score. It’s just one factor in many factors that Goldman Sachs uses for determining granting credit.
yes that was what they said. These loan places be lying about guarantees and I only applied for at least 2 of them. Got an emergency I needed to take care off and lenders don’t seem to cooperate. That more than likely explains why I got that answer for this. First time I’ve applied for those
That’s true, my credit was way better up until I got this new job in April. Unfortunately don’t make as much as I used to and their pay system is rather inconvenient being paid on set days now threw off when I could take care of all bills without consequence.
When you apply for a loan, credit card, mortgage etc. the lender/bank will do what is called a “hard pull” of your credit report to verify your credit history etc. You can get a free copy of your credit report here,
https://www.annualcreditreport.com/index.action
Look over your report for errors or inaccuracies. If you find a mistake on your report, you can dispute it with the credit bureau that reported it. You have legal rights in this area and disputes are easy to do and changes can happen very quickly. The changes will be immediately applied to your report(s) and you can apply again. But the first step is to get your reports and examine them for accuracy.
My credit is at 669 so I’m lost on why it was still declined
What all do you need for an approval is a better question
I did but I don’t remember my credit being checked that often, which was the reason it declined
The reason for the decline was too many inquiries?
With almost any credit determination … the LENGTH of good credit history … is a very large determining factor.
Obviously, “longer” is “better.”
