Hi SumitSahaSam,

If you'd like to know why your previous Android text data didn't restore from iCloud, this information might help.

iCloud backups include nearly all data and settings stored on your device. iCloud backups don't include:
- Data that's already stored in iCloud, like Contacts, Calendars, Notes, iCloud Photos, iMessages, Voice Memos, text (SMS) and multimedia (MMS) messages, and Health data
- Data stored in other cloud services, like Gmail and Exchange mail
- Apple Mail data
- Apple Pay information and settings
- Face ID or Touch ID settings
- iCloud Music Library and App Store content

The information above is from Backup methods for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. You will see that text (SMS) and (MMS) messages aren't included in iCloud backups. Since you came from Android, these messages weren't already in iCloud and then are not part of a new backup, so they did not restore.

If you'd like, you can provide feedback to Apple by going to Product Feedback and picking the most appropriate product or service. That way your feedback can get to the team that manages these features.

We hope that helps with your question and take care!
