Hi, I dropeped my iphone in the lake, followed all instructions for drying, it is now 18 hours after the accident. The speaker is and sound is very muffeled, will it help if I reset my phone to factory reset?

Probably not. What you should do is immediately back your phone up. Water damage is often fatal and not covered under warranty. Should the phone fail as is certainly possible, you need a backup to restore to the replacement phone you may need to purchase.
