Apparently 2 Partitions when only 1

I have a WD 2TB Ext HDD I've been using on my MacBook Pro. I'm having problems with it's reliability and have noticed using Disk Utility it appears to have two 2 TB partitions. It says the second is not mounted. I've tried erasing/reformatting in APFS and Mack Journaled, but this ghost partition is always there. How can I get rid of it? See screenshots.
