Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

I have icloud+, have purchased music from itunes but can't share playlist via music app.

Either have to purchase apple music or itunes match, way too much of ask to share the playlist across devices using icloud.

iCloud+ has nothing to do with sharing playlists.


If you own both devices and they are signed in to the same Apple ID, then the playlists are automatically shared when you sync a device to a computer that holds the playlist.


If one of the devices belongs to someone else and is signed in with a different Apple ID, then you need Apple Music to share playlists as only playlists form the Apple Music subscription service can be shared. Playlists made with purchased songs cannot be shared except as text.


You can't share playlists from your own purchased music except as text, since otherwise you would be pirating music the other person has not purchased.
