Hi,

Any information about the printer model?

Is the MacBook Pro running macOS 10.13 High Sierra (in your profile)?

You mentioned other Apple devices. Would these be iPhones and iPads? If so, the printer ought to be an AirPrint model as listed in About AirPrint - Apple Support, unless you are using a special iOS/iPadOS app from the printer manufacturer.

With an AirPrint-enabled printer, it should be possible to use the MacBook Pro without having to install drivers, provided that the printer and the computer are connected to the same network (Wi-Fi router).

In case of a problem with AirPrint, you may want to try the following procedure (in the exact order):

Power off the Wi-Fi router, the printer, the MacBook Pro, and all other devices/computers. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the router. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the printer. Wait a minute or two. Power on the MacBook Pro. Finally, power on all other devices/computers.
