i am trying to sign into my apple ID I got the verification code and every thing but its telling that i need a 28-character recovery key. I haven't set it up or anything so now I'm stuck. i would really like your help as I don't want to switch to android phone, and is there a way that i can access my 28 recovery key through my computer instead of a mac

If you lost your Recovery Key
As long as you remember your Apple ID password and still have access to one of your trusted devices, you can sign in and create a new Recovery Key.
Keep your new Recovery Key in a safe place. Your old Recovery Key won't work anymore and you can't use it to reset your password or access your account.
