My lost iPhone was removed from my iCloud account through fishing attack, any solution now ? Is my current iPhone safe? Or is infected ?

I lost my iPhone 11 Pro Max. Turned lost mode on from laptop. After 14 days, I got a txt msg having link, which was unfortunately clicked. After click my lost iPhone vanished from Find my iPhone ( previously , phone was visible as offline ).

So now, what options I have ? Can lost phone be found on iCloud / find my iPhone ?

  1. is my iPhone where I got msg , is infected or safe ? ( have already restarted and cleared browser data ) ?

iPhone 11 Pro Max, iOS 15

When you responded to that phishing attack you divulged your Apple ID password. They used that to turn off Find My on your iPhone. If you haven't already, you should immediately change your Apple ID password. If you had a passcode (including Face ID) they could not access data on your old phone but they could access data on iCloud if you didn't have two-factor authentication turned on.

Since they turned off Find My, you phone cannot be located but the following has information: If Find My iPhone or Find My iPad isn't enabled on your missing device - Apple Support

Hi there,

Same Thing happens with me. i received the same link unfortunately i clicked on it and then my phone has been removed from iCloud. i have given my contact number while putting my phone on lost mode. he has sent the same Text Message. I Have Reported In Police and they put the IMEI Numbers on Tracking Like Once any sim will be inserted they will receive the alert with Details Of the Sim owner. I hope now they will sell the phone in My Country.
