I'm not able to change my message display name.

When I try to edit name and photo in message, I get "...because iCloud and iMessage accounts are different or not signed in". I'm able to log in the iCloud but how do I log in to iMessage?

Are you using the same Apple ID. for iCloud and Messages? Have you logged into FaceTime?

Have you tried editing your card in Contacts? If using a computer, have you gone to Messages/Preferences/General to edit your name and photo?

You are welcome. After changing the Apple ID, did you sign out of iCloud, FaceTime, and Messages, and then sign in with the new ID? You have to sign out/in. The ID change doesn't automatically do that.

I've changed the Apple ID today but somehow it's not synchronized to all; iCloud, facetime, and Messages. I will keep try to sync. I did edit the contact. Thanks for your message.
