error message 10673 Is Apple coercing us into only using Safari?

Every day I open my emails in Mail and the links contained in the email don't work with my preferred browser Firefox. After messing about a bit it works again but it's really irritating. Anybody got any suggestions besides Apple's 'cure' of running Safari as default browser?

Safari will not open Yahoo Mail page Safari will not open Yahoo Mail - from ATT/Yahoo home page, says "unknown error". Tried just using mail yahoo.com. Again would not open. Yahoo mail will open on another browser, using another computer. Do I need to delete and then add this email account? If so how? Have restarted computer and Safari several times with no luck. Yahoo mail and Safari My yahoo mail won't open on Safari. The message says, "Safari Can't Open the Page". Error is " unknown error" (NSURLErrorDomain:/1). Any idea how to fix that?

Both work equally well for me.

I suggest you uninstall FF and reinstall it.

What Exactly appears when the Link ( url ) in the receive e-mail, using Right Click or Command Click the URL ?

The User does not HAVE to Make Safari the Default Browser

Not a handy as a Default Method but doable.
