Hi there Mzmeekz,

Let's start with setting up your phone number in Messages: Add or remove your phone number in Messages or FaceTime

1. Go to Settings > Messages and make sure that iMessage is on. You might need to wait a moment for it to activate.
2. Tap Send & Receive. If you see “Use your Apple ID for iMessage,” tap it and sign in with the same Apple ID that you use on your Mac, iPad, and iPod touch.
3. In the "You can receive iMessages to and Reply From" section, make sure that your phone number and Apple ID are selected.
4. Go to Settings > FaceTime and make sure that your phone number and Apple ID are selected in the "You can be reached by FaceTime at" section.

If those steps are unsuccessful, go over the steps in this article: If you can’t turn on or sign in to iMessage or FaceTime

Suggestions include:

  • Checking your device settings.
  • Turning off and restarting iMessage and FaceTime

Still not activated after a day?

It might take up to 24 hours to activate iMessage and FaceTime. If the issue continues after 24 hours, follow these steps:

1. Make sure that your device has the latest version of iOS or iPadOS.
2. If you're using an iPhone, contact your carrier to make sure that you can send and receive SMS messages.
3. If your iPhone is used with a carrier not found in the wireless carrier articles, make sure you can send and receive international SMS.
4. Contact Apple Support.

Best regards.
