LTE drops to 3G when hotspot is on

When I turn on my personal hotspot to share data with any device, my connection drops from LTE to 3G. I have had this problem for over a year now and trust me there isn’t any website with any article slightly related to this matter that I haven’t read!

I have tried:

Resetting my cellular data and refilling it again.
Discussing the problem with my service provider in Afghanistan and not receiving any solution.
Changing my APN, username and hotspot APN from uppercase to lowercase

Nothing has worked for me! Please tell me if there is a solution to this 🙏🏼

Hey there,

Were you in a spot where you had 1 bar of LTE? Possiblyt he iPhone was preferring 3G because it had a stronger signal than LTE where you were?

try reset network settings. You will have to re-enter your wifi passwords but it should reset all of the settings to do with the network, wifi and the personal hotspot.

Go to Settings > General > transfer or reset iPhone > reset > reset network settings .
