Whatsapp backup on icloud Hello, I accidentally deleted a chat on my whatsapp, i think 1-2 weeks ago. my whatsapp backs up daily on icloud so now when I have tried to restore my iphone to a previous back up from a few months ago...i still don’t get the old back up of whatsapp on which that chat will be available. My new back up on whatsapp keeps restoring. Is there any way i can access my whatsapp photos from an old whatsapp back up on icloud please? To retrieve the photos from the deleted chat? WhatsApp photos recovery Hey guys, two years ago, I got an iPhone 7 and I made sure I backed it up esp my whatsapp to my iCloud before I changed to another one which was Xs max. I did restore for my WhatsApp on this xs max but I my chats came back with pictures not visible but showing question marks. Now I don't know what could have led to that but I recently changed to an iPhone 12 and I would love to know if the data I can restore on my WhatsApp on this new phone will come from iPhone 7 which was my first iPhone or it will come from the xs max ? I really need to track down a photo from my iPhone 7 WhatsApp chat

WhatsApp data is only part of the backup, created by WhatsApp itself and data like photos and videos are not included in the iOS backup.

If you opted in the WhatsApp settings to save the photos from your chats in your iOS photo app, those photos should be inside the photo app.
