I have a 2020 model MacAir, but can only upgrade it to IOS version13, unlike my iPhone and iPad which upgraded to 15.5. How do I upgrade my MacAir so that all three Apple devices are operating on IOS 15.5?

Hi, every Apple product have different system operator, like iPhone has now iOS 15.5, iPad has iPadOS 15.5, and Apple Watch has watchOS 8.6, and Mac has MacOs where the newest version is MacOS Montery 12.4
My iPhone 13 and new iPad can upgrade to the 15.5 IOS, but my MacAir (2020 model) can only upgrade to 13. Please explain.
