I try to connect to my Wi-Fi but it comes back as hidden network. I do not know how to resolve this.

How do I get my Wi-Fi recognized by my iPad instead of hidden network?

Your WiFi hidden network is configured on your WiFi Router. You’ll need to modify your WiFi Router settings:
