Problem with password while installing software

Hey everyone,

So today I wanted to install python and pycharm on my mac to program a bit, everything went great until I had to install python on my computer. I had to write a password but i didn't know and still don't know which one is it, there's a screenshot of it bellow (sorry if you can't read french). So as you can see i need to insert a password but i don't know which one, i tried with my apple id , it didn't work, with the password i use to unlock my mac , it didn't work, and with many others passwords i usually use. So i think i have to insert the admin passsword , but the problem is the admin password is the same as the one i use to unlock the computer, right ? So i don't know what to do; before this, when i was downloading, everything was happening perfectly, but there it doesn't seem to work.

Thanks for your reading,

Soren

Hey... In this situation I would follow the article attached below if you forgot your admin password.

Going this route will allow you to reset the admin user password and you'll be able to proceed with the install.

A user generally has only two passwords: local and Internet.

The local password allows you access to your Mac. The internet password (Apple ID & password) allows you access to all of Apple internet goodies. There is a firmware password, but that's not likely in play here.

This looks like it's asking for your local admin password. You must be an admin user to install software.
