Texting a contact whose mobile phone number has changed
I’ve changed the mobile # for a contact, but when I text it goes to the old number. How do I get it to start using the new number?

Type the phone number into the To: for the message. If you have a thread that already exists with the old number, that is why it is trying to use the old number when you enter their name.
