My 2014 iMac is currently running on Mojave 10.14.6. Any issue to install MacOS Monterey?

Thank you Picas, of course I should have checked that! I can only upgrade to Big Sur.

Do I need to undock the external hard drive where my Photos Library is stored before the upgrade?
