missing mailboxes

Welcome to the Aople Community.

Wondering if the folder of mailboxes could have been accidentally added (dragged) to a folder above, or below it.

or

Check the trash / Bin to see if the folder of mailboxes, and / or the emails were accidentally deflected.

If that hasn't helped find what is missing:

You may wish to try searching for an eMail that you know was in a missing mailbox.

If messages are in a Recovered Messages mailbox in Mail on Mac – Apple Support
