Show Caller id - spinning wheel

Sorry I didn't know how to answer an old question that someone had about not being able to toggle this and show caller id. My kids were tired of seeing Private Number everytime I called! I had this problem after transferring my sim card to a new iPhone 12 mini. After trying all the other solutions including completing reinstalling ioS, wiping the phone after doing a back-up onto iTunes etc, the fix was in the end quite simple. I took out the sim card, put it back into my old iPhone, went to Settings-Phone-Show Caller ID, toggle it on and off. Then reinsert my sim back into the new phone and it was fixed! No more spinning wheel and my number now shows when calling people.
