received these messages after erasing the phone a week ago, is it scam?

Scam message. Apple does not get involved with lost or stolen phones. Do not reply to them.

Thank you. Moreover, it was sent to my brother’s Imessage, is there possibility that they have an access to the phone after it’s been erased?
