Apple TV Brief Flickers of Static

I just got a 55” LG C2, and I’ve noticed during watching content on multiple apps (YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video) there will sometimes be quick flickers of static on the screen, sometimes just one small horizontal line, other times horizontal lines spanning 3/4 of the TV.

I’ve swapped out 3 different hi-speed HDMI cables, tried every other HDMI port on my TV, and the problem still persists with the Apple TV only.

I have seen people say that it may be an issue with matching the content range, but I turned that off and the issue still happens. I’ve factory reset both my TV and ATV, no fixes.

The picture is a freeze frame of what it looks like when the problem occurs. Anyone else experiencing this or know what it could be?

I tried all of these already and even switched to Ethernet instead of WiFi for the connection.

I think I did find a fix, for anyone with an LG TV don’t enable “Real Cinema,” I disabled this and my problems went away and have not come back.

Try some basics such as:

Disconnect the Apple TV from its power source for 2-3 minutes and then reconnect and test to see if that helps.

Also, don't count out your network so try:

·      Unplug Modem from it’s power source for 2-3 minutes and then plug it back in.

·      Unplug Router from it’s power source for 2-3 minutes and then plug it back in.

·      Unplug Apple TV from it’s power source for 2-3 minutes and then plug it back in and retest the system.
