stock app wont refresh rates on iphone nor mac

both devices are up to date. data wont refresh, rates displayed are old. can anyone actually help or it's an app bug that no one cares about therefore abandons the app?

Right-click on one of the main entries (e.g. AAPL) in the macOS Stock App, and choose to open it in a new window (or tab). That new window content refreshes about every 15 seconds.
